Affordable, High-Quality Healthcare for All

At Fredericksburg Christian Health Center (FCHC), we believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare, whether you have Medicare, Medicaid, or no insurance at all.

Due to very low reimbursement and excessive administrative work most medical practices see a very limited number of Medicaid patients, or don’t accept Medicaid at all. Compared to commercial insurance, a doctor will get reimbursed $50 less per visit for a patient with Medicaid.

FCHC takes care of patients who are uninsured asking for a nominal fee based on household income. Over 1/2 of FCHC services are charitable care to the poor amounting to $1,000,000 of services rendered each year. FCHC depends on grants and donations to offer these services.

What If I Don’t Have Insurance?

If you do not have insurance, you may qualify for our Uninsured Program. This program provides medical care, behavioral health services, and nutrition counseling at small fee based on household income (under 300% of the Federal Poverty Level). We are committed to caring for all patients regardless of ability to pay.
