Nutritional Services

Eating healthy food is very important for our bodies and minds to stay healthy, but sometimes it can be hard to find healthy food that we can afford. At Fredericksburg Christian Health Center (FCHC), we know that having access to healthy food is very important for people who have health problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, kidney disease, and others.

That's why FCHC has a special nutrition program to help people who need it most. We work with a nutrition expert named Suzanne Amoruso with Nutrition For You, who helps people learn about healthy eating habits. Suzanne talks to people on video calls or in person at FCHC on Fridays. She also leads group classes throughout the year to help people learn how to eat healthy foods.

FCHC also has a food pantry in our lobby where we give out over 100 large bags of food each month to people who need help. We partner with local churches to make sure that the food pantry is always stocked with healthy and nutritious foods.

We also partner with the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, who bring food to our parking lot every other Wednesday afternoon. This is another way we can help people get healthy food when they need it most.

At FCHC, we are committed to helping people stay healthy, and we know that having access to healthy food is an important part of that. We're here to help, and we hope that our nutrition program can make a difference in your life.
