Mike Jones is a founding board member of FCHC and was instrumental in the starting of this ministry. He is the principal owner of the Tricord Companies which consist of: Tricord Homes, a homebuilding company; Tricord, Inc., a land development company; Virginia Construction Company, a site construction company and Pendleton Golf Club, a 18-hole golf course. Mr. Jones is a seminary graduate and is an elder at Grace Church of Fredericksburg. He and his wife, Terri, have four married children and twelve grandchildren.
Craig Buck is an attorney with The Buck Law Firm and has offices in Fredericksburg and Fairfax. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and William and Mary’s law school. Craig is a founding board member of FCHC and was very instrumental in getting the clinic started.
David Hertle was a med-evac pilot in Vietnam. He retired from a career as a Postal Inspector in 2002 and soon began serving FCHC as a founding director and our first volunteer. He has served as a corporate chaplain locally since 2005. He also volunteers some of his free time visiting the ill and disabled and as a hospice Chaplin.
Mr. Tony Seals is the President/CEO of CORTEK, Inc., a defense contractor company in Fredericksburg VA, the Executive Director/Board Member of The Refuge Church, the Chairman of the non-profit, Educational Technology Empowering Kids (ETEK), and a retired Marine Corps officer of 21 years’ service. Tony has a Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in Finance from Harvard University.
Bob Lively has over 40 years experience in the Healthcare Industry, serving in Administrative and Executive Positions with Inova Health System in Fairfax, Virginia, and for the past 25 years with Mary Washington Healthcare. Bob has a special place in his heart for those unable to afford healthcare, as he grew up poor, and was unable to get needed medical care at his local hospital as a child because his family had not paid their hospital bill.
Katie Mahoney is a health coach with a huge heart for the poor. Her and her husband Pat (who is a pastor and one of the founding board members of FCHC) live in Fredericksburg and have started a church Washington, DC, reaching out to the underprivileged. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
Reverend Ilona Reid (Lonnie) is a retired flight attendant where she learned to serve not only those in the air but also those on the ground. She and her husband of 49 years founded the Mars Hill Ministry to minister to the homeless here in Fredericksburg.
David Penick is an Electrical Engineer by degree and a Systems Engineer by occupation who has worked in the defense industry as a contractor since 2001. Dave and his family are patients at FCHC and are very active in their church.
